2017 Secondary Summer School

2017 NPS SECONDARY SUMMER SCHOOL

 

Please note: for the time being, all dates listed below are tentative and subject to change as the year progresses.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Summer School will be held June 26 –July 28 at Norwalk High School for secondary academics and enrichment courses. (There will be no classes on July 4th).

One hundred percent of the registration fee MUST be paid when registering. Application forms for all make-up courses in which the student intends to receive credit MUST be signed by a counselor, housemaster, or principal BEFORE the student is registered and awarded credit (no accelerated course will be offered). Application will be mailed to every home in the district.

 

COSTS:

The fee for one class is $255. The fee for two classes is $505. Non-Norwalk residents have an additional $25 fee. Full payment is due at registration, no exceptions!

Financial aid is available for Norwalk residents who receive free or reduced lunch.

Note: A $75 discount will be applied to the TOTAL cost of tuition, NOT per class.

v In Person: June 1- June 8 at NHS. Mon-Thurs. from 12 pm-3 pm, 2nd floor E-House

Note: There is NO Registration on June 9th due to NHS Graduation. 12 pm -3 p.m., 2nd floor E-house

v June 12- June 23: 8 am - 2 pm 1st floor B-House

v June 26- July 28: Monday-Friday: 7:30 am -1 pm

ESL Summer Academy

For English Language Learners (ELLs) enrolled in ESL classes, going into grades 6-12 

Middle School ELLs: June 26 – July 28, 8 am-10am—Norwalk High School

High School ELLs: June 26 – August 2, 8 am-12:30pm (1 full credit)—Norwalk High School
