Parents of incoming Norwalk Public School Kindergarteners and other new students can now register their child for school online through PowerSchool Registration. PowerSchool Registration allows parents to easily and securely enter their child’s information.

 

To access the online registration portal, click on the online registration button on the home page of the Norwalk Public Schools website.  The current year (2018-2019) form is also still available. If a parent does not have a PowerSchool Registration parent account, they can create one.  The PowerSchool Registration parent account will allow parents to fill out the necessary forms online, save and return to forms in progress and print form history.

 

If families do not have access to a computer, each school will have a Chromebook available. The ELL Welcome Center is also available by appointment to assist with the online registration process for those that need language assistance.

 

The following materials will need to be brought to the school the child will attend in order to complete the registration process:

+ Parent or guardian photo identification

+ A certified birth certificate or other official evidence of birth date (i.e. passport)

+ Three proofs of residency (e.g. mortgage statement, utility bills, lease or deed)

+ State of Connecticut Health Assessment Record (blue form) - Evidence of physical exam done within one year of entering kindergarten must be recorded on this form
