Welcome to the Norwalk Public Schools School Readiness Information Page.

Our Norwalk Public School program serves families who reside in the City of Norwalk.
The preschools are made possible through funding from CT State School Readiness and the Norwalk Board of Education.
The Early Language and Learning Initiative (ELLI) is a high-quality, interdisciplinary approach to early childhood education during the school year. ELLI provides essential language and literacy-rich experiences for young children that are based on theory, research and community wisdom about what all children need to learn and grow up successfully.
The school year programs introduce opportunities for ELLI students to build essential life skills including critical thinking, creativity and innovation, communication and collaboration while playfully integrating science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM).
