Break the Bullying: NPS & NCHC Premiere Student-Driven Anti-Bullying Media Campaign
NPS Communications

On June 4, Norwalk Public Schools and the Norwalk Community Health Center proudly celebrated the premiere of “Break the Bullying”, a powerful, student-driven media campaign aimed at promoting anti-bullying awareness.

Created and produced by students from Brien McMahon High School's HOSA-Future Health Professionals chapter, Film & Audio Club, and Drama Department, the videos tackle the impact of bullying and the importance of speaking up. With guidance from Cork Factory Films, NPS, and NCHC, these talented students took the lead in every step of the process.

At the premiere, BMHS students Maria Restrepo and Hazel Molina joined Aracely Centeno, the School Based Behavioral Health Manager for NCHC, Dr. Robin Gredinger, Social Worker in Residence for NPS, and Gene Mayer, Producer/Art Director at Cork Factory Films. to share how the project came together and why it matters—for schools and the wider community.

A huge thank you to our partners at Norwalk Community Health Center, especially CEO Ken Waller and the dedicated team at the BMHS School-Based Health Center, for empowering students to use their voices to inspire change. This campaign was made possible by a grant from the School-Based Health Alliance.
