Fund for Teachers Opportunity

Fund for Teachers is a nonprofit organization that invests in outstanding teachers' self-determined professional growth and development in order to support student success, enrich their own practice, and strengthen their schools and communities.

Eligibility:

• You are a full-time PK-12 grade teacher who spends at least 50% of your time directly providing instruction to students;
• You are returning to the classroom in the consecutive school year;
• You have at least three years’ experience as a PK-12 grade teacher at the end of the year.

For the 2024 Fellowship, the application window closes Jan. 18th, 2024. However, each year, the window opens around the first week of October and closes during the third week in January.
 
Recipients can earn $5,000 for an individual and $10,000 for a team.
 
Trips must be taken during the summer vacation period of the year you receive the grant.
