Livingstone College Awards Over $1 Million in Scholarships to NPS Seniors

Norwalk Public Schools is proud to celebrate an incredible partnership with Livingstone College, as more than a dozen graduating seniors prepare to attend the historically Black college in North Carolina this fall.

During a special visit, Livingstone College President Dr. Anthony J. Davis personally returned to award over $1 million in scholarships to 16 students from Brien McMahon High School and Norwalk High School, including 11 Presidential Scholarships (full rides).

This moment reflects the powerful opportunities created through strong partnerships. A special thank you to Norwalk NAACP President Brenda Penn-Williams for helping make this connection possible for our students.

And the future is bright! At Brien McMahon, 13 juniors are currently pending Presidential Scholarships to Livingstone College. We wish them the very best of luck!
