Niche Ranks CGS a Top 25 Public High School in CT

Niche has ranked the Center for Global Studies among the top 25 Best Public High Schools in Connecticut for 2024. The school received an A+ grade from Niche taking into account academics, teachers, clubs and activities, diversity, college prep, and the administration.

The intra-district magnet high school ranked sixth best among 202 public high schools in Connecticut, seventh best among the state’s college prep high schools (192), and first among magnet high schools in the state (33).

The 2024 Best Public High Schools ranking for Niche is based on rigorous analysis of key statistics and millions of reviews from students and parents using data from the U.S. Department of Education. Ranking factors include state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, teacher quality, and high school ratings. SAT/ACT scores were removed from this year's rankings to reflect a general de-emphasis on test scores in the college admissions process.
