NPS Celebrates National Arts in Education Week
Norwalk Public Schools is proud to shine the spotlight on our dedicated team of teachers in the visual and performing arts to celebrate National Arts in Education Week.
In the Norwalk Public Schools, the arts are a cornerstone of a well-rounded education, offering students vital opportunities for creative expression and personal growth. Our exemplary art, music, and theater programs showcase remarkable talent while creating an environment where every student’s voice is heard and valued.
Dedicated educators bring these disciplines to life with innovative teaching methods and a passion for nurturing creativity. By integrating the arts into our curriculum, we empower students to explore their unique perspectives, collaborate with peers, and develop critical thinking skills.
In Norwalk, the arts are more than just classes—they’re a vibrant, integral part of our students' educational journey.
National Arts in Education Week is a nationwide celebration of the transformative power of the arts in education.
Passed by Congress in 2010, this week is designated to highlight the benefits of and need for the arts in education so that elected officials and educational decision-makers nationwide can find ways to support equitable arts access for students of all backgrounds.
Thank you again to our wonderful staff of arts educators. We thank you for inspiring creativity and passion in all our students.
