Our school communities and Central Office burned bright in orange yesterday to show kindness, acceptance, and inclusion for Unity Day 2023.
On Unity Day, everyone is encouraged to wear orange to show unity for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion and to send a visible message that no child should ever experience bullying.
At Kendall College & Career Academy, the season five premiere of "Kidz Talk! @ Kendall" focused on Unity Day, and the student panel taught their peers more about the celebration that occurs each year on the third Wednesday of October. The Kendall students also shared tips on how to prevent bullying and how to help new students feel included in their new community.
