NPS Family Center, Norwalk Next Steps & Other Support Services Relocating to 46 Concord St.

Dear NPS Community,

You may have recently seen the news that the property at 1 Park Street is up for sale. For the past four years, Norwalk Public Schools has leased space in this building to house the NPS Family Center, the Norwalk Next Steps 18–22 Transition Program, and several additional student and family support services.

Prior to learning of the sale, Norwalk Public Schools had already planned to relocate these programs and services. They will now move to our district property at 46 Concord Street.

We are grateful for our partnership with the Human Services Council and for the opportunity to share space in this historic building in the heart of Norwalk. It has been a welcoming location where we have supported new families through the registration process and where our Next Steps students have made meaningful progress as they transition to productive, independent lives beyond Norwalk Public Schools.

We do not anticipate any disruption to services during this transition. We will share additional details soon, including when families and community members should begin visiting the Family Center and related services at 46 Concord Street.
