ScoutsBSA offers three different troop experiences with troops for boys and girls, ages 10 to 17.
Cub Scouts perform better in school, learn the value of volunteering in their community and build confidence to take on positions of leadership. Compared to non-Scouts, Scouts are more likely to embrace positive social values; develop kindness, helpfulness and cheerfulness; and have a greater sense of hope for their future.
