NPS Communications

What is SCY?

The SCY Program was developed to screen children and adolescents throughout Connecticut for early detection of mental health and trauma issues and, if needed, refer them to behavioral health services.

The federally funded program (grant from United States Department of Health and Human Services Administration for Children and Families) is an innovative, upstream approach to addressing mental health concerns designed to prevent greater difficulties later in life.

Who can SCY help?

The SCY Program can screen any Connecticut youth from age 4 - 17.

What does it cost?

The SCY Program is completely FREE to all participants.

To hear more about the SCY Program, or refer a child to be screened, please call 1-800-505-9000 or see our website at CTFSA.org.
