Norwalk Transit District
The Norwalk Transit District (NTD) serves as the main public transportation provider across Norwalk.
NTD launched a new bust network on Aug. 11, 2025, combining all fixed‑route WHEELS buses and commuter/evening shuttles into a single, unified all‑day WHEELS system with streamlined route numbers and seven revamped routes. This redesign introduces three new mini‑hubs at Burnell Boulevard, South Norwalk Station, and East Norwalk Station to enhance connectivity, simplify transfers, and improve service efficiency for riders.
