Norwalk Public Schools maintains a strict policy mandating that Kindergarten students must always be accompanied by an adult when waiting at a bus stop, both during arrival and dismissal.
To ensure the safety and recognition of kindergarten students, they will receive a K-pass signaling they are in kindergarten, as well as a bus pass containing their information.
The front three rows of each bus are reserved for kindergarten students. This will guarantee that the driver is able to pay the utmost attention and care to these students.
Granting Norwalk public school takes the necessary precautions, parents are still encouraged to attach a name card to the students backpack with the student’s name, address, and bus number.
