Norwalk, Conn. (April 8, 2020) – Norwalk Public Schools is pleased to announce that NPS Educators Ms. Nikki Bonaventura, Ms. Julie Chironna, Dr. Maria Fox, Mr. Andy Pearce, Ms. Jessica Stargardter, Ms. Stephanie Tom and have been named 2020 Fund For Teachers Fellows.

For the past six years, the Dalio Foundation has recognized visionary teachers across the state by giving them the opportunity to explore various interests across the world. Teachers take these experiences and bring them back to their students for a unique learning experience.

To be considered for the Fund for Teachers fellowship, educators underwent a rigorous application process, answering questions such as what they wanted to study, where they wanted to study, and the benefit to students. A committee of teachers, school leaders, district administrators and community stakeholders chose the finalists.
