Norwalk Public Schools offers a variety of Preschool Programs for 3 and 4 year olds. Please see below to find the best opportunity for your family. 

All children who turn 3 years old on, or before September 1, 2024 are eligible to start Preschool. 

School Readiness - Preschool Program

Soon to be Early Start CT, effective July 1, 2025.

Enrollment is done with a Preliminary Application based on a first come first serve basis, open to all Norwalk residents.

Brookside Elementary School - Montessori Program

South Norwalk Neighborhood School

Enrollment is done with a Preliminary Application based on a first come first serve basis for SONO district families only.

Sono's Preschool classroom is at capacity for the 2024-2025 school year. To get on the waiting list for the remaining of this school year, Click here. 

Children are not automatically enrolled. You will be contacted by phone in March or April if your child receives a spot.
